Perfect Travel Match

Overview

Perfect Travel Match is an algorithm feature that helps users connect with groups of like-minded travelers who share their passions and vision of adventure—essentially, the Tinder for travel. Within the scope of this project, I designed intuitive user experiences, interactive matching interfaces, and a playful yet trustworthy visual identity to create an engaging and seamless travel matchmaking experience.

Project goals

In the scope of project, the goal of this project is to create an engaging matchmaking experience that help users find out their travel perfect match.
Through research, feedback, and testing, we aim to refine the user needs that create a more effective, user-friendly solution for our users.

Based on our survey findings, many users struggle with trust, ice-breaking, and finding common interests with their travel mates. To address this, we designed a detailed onboarding flow that helps users feel more comfortable and increases the accuracy of our group-matching results.

Creating a secure and seamless groupmatching

We’re refining the process of matching users, either by connecting you with compatible profiles first or letting you join after picking a great deal. To protect your privacy, your contact info is only shared once everyone in the group has booked. Group management is clear and safe, with easy controls for accepting new members, defined roles (like organizer or moderator of group), and small, manageable group sizes.

Simple, easy-to-use and accessible matching experience:

The main focus is to keep the interface straightforward, avoiding unnecessary pages and prioritizing must-have features like group chat, invitations, seeing who’s available, and sharing feedback after your trip. A/B testing helps us choose the most intuitive experience for our audience.
