MobileApp Design
Haizz AI
Overview
Haizz AI is an app that quickly creates interior design plans for homes using floor plan scans, VR/AR, and 360° photos. It helps users visualize personalized 3D living spaces easily, making the design process smoother. The app also allows direct communication between clients and architects, and users can buy or consult on furniture within the app. It is available on both iOS and Android and is designed for homeowners and professionals looking for an efficient design solution.

Project goals
The scope of work focuses on redesigning the MVP into V1 to deliver a streamlined user experience across the entire Haizz AI app. This ensures easy access to all core features, with special emphasis on an intuitive AI-driven input flow. Users can enter detailed information seamlessly to generate a precise 360° VR/AR floor plan that perfectly matches their needs for optimal results.
Step-by-step input flow : The user experience is simplified through a step-by-step input flow that breaks down the process into individual pages—one per step—for easy interaction and navigation. Each page focuses on a single, clear task, providing all necessary information without overwhelming users. This consistent structure helps middle-aged, mobile-first users input precise requirements (room types, room quantities…) ensuring they achieve best results effortlessly.
Enhancing user interface intuitiveness and consistency
Added more whitespace: Creates breathing room on small screens, reducing visual clutter and eye strain.
Followed core UX principles: Ensures logical, predictable interactions that feel natural for less tech-savvy users.
Reduced unnecessary details: Shows only essential info per screen to avoid overwhelming users.
Clear hierarchy: Displays information in a structured order—most important first—with bold headings, larger fonts, and intuitive icons for quick scanning.
Research
Insights/Ideation
We deployed our project by starting doing users research ( real users interviews ) to conducting real user interviews to deeply understand their needs and challenges. Key pain points identified include:
The primary users are mostly middle-aged.
The MVP’s final 3D design results did not meet their expectations, leading to low purchase interest.
Generic input prompts: Users wanted more detailed customization options (baby rooms, storage spacee… or other house-specific requirements)
Building on these insights, we conducted a competitive benchmark against leading apps, including RoomGPT, ReimagineHomeAI, InteriorAI, and AI Room Planner,… to identify best practices and opportunities for differentiation.
